The legendary MC5, one of the bands that defined rock as social and political revolution, has lost another member. 68 year old Mark Davis succumbed to liver failure in a California hospital on Friday. 1991 saw the passing of Rob Tyner, si
nger, and Fred "Sonic" Smith, guitarist and husband of the godmother of punk, Patti Smith, passed on in 1994. Sans those two members the band, Wayne Kramer, Mark, and drummer Dennis Thompson had their last gig together in 2004 in Chicago as DKT/MC5. RIP nv
